 Dishwasher - Temporary, Napa

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

The dishwasher's primary responsibility is to quickly, efficiently, quietly and thoroughly clean all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans. The dishwasher must clean and maintain the dish machine and maintain safe, clean and sanitary conditions in the dish area, kitchen area, walk-in refrigerators, and garbage / dock area.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Properly clean all dishes, glasses, cups, silverware, pots, pans and utensils
  • Utilize proper handling of all glass and dishwares to avoid breakage
  • Clean and maintain the proper working condition of your dishwashing machine
  • Stock the cook's line with the necessary dishes and utensils
  • Maintain proper sanitary conditions and organization in your work area
  • Keep strict security in building, freezer and walk-in access

Requirements

The Wine Educator will work with a team of skilled professionals to ensure guests receive the best impression of the winery, with a focus at all times on customer service. The presentation made to the guests must be carried out properly, professionally, and in a manner consistent with the philosophies and image of the winery.

Requirements

 Winery Laboratory Technician - Temporary, Napa

Requirements

Local Wineries currently seeking experienced Tasting Room Attendants for a part time/seasonal openings.   The role of the Tasting Room Attendant is to provide the highest level of customer service and a memorable Napa Valley wine experience for their visitors.

Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays, special events and some weekdays.


Job Functions

  • Deliver excellent customer service to facilitate wine sales while maximizing customer relations.
  • Complete transaction in point of sale system, including shipping orders, wine club, and cash and credit transactions.

  • Build and maintain long term customer relationships for the winery.

 Warehouse & Forklift Operators - Temporary, Napa $10-$12/hour

Local Napa Valley Wineries seeking skilled Warehouse/Forklift Operators.  Must be flexible to work varying/rotating shifts to include weekends, holidays and overtime.  Positions are typically long-term/seasonal.     

Essential Duties

  • Must be able to drive all forks, squeeze lifts in proficient matter, and keep up with all production speeds.
  • Correctly identify all pallet tags, and warehouse tags for all products at line speed.
  • Must make sure all products have the correct tags and identification on each load before staging.
  • Must make sure all Quality Assurance (QA) and Production tags are on each loads and are correct before moving.  If not sure, notify Supervisor.
  • Must be able to fill out and interpret all paperwork for bottling, shipping, and receiving.
  • Assure all items are stacked correctly and stacked on pallets when requested.
  • Conduct inventory counts.
  • Pull daily orders and prepare them for shipment.
  • Keep all shipping areas clean and free of trash.
  • Fill out shipping paperwork when needed.
  • Must check that all dock-locks are operational at the start of shift.  Report to Supervisor if one is not working properly.
  • Work with Shipping clerk on receiving and shipping paperwork.
  • Ensure palletizer is putting out proper stacking patterns.
  • Loading trucks and their proper stacking patterns.
  • Loading trucks with proper weight distribution.
  • Perform all paperwork, loading, and receiving procedures as defined in the Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) manual unless approval is received from a supervisor.
  • Must be able with proper safety training, to replace and reset all stretch wrappers and top sheets with rolls.
  • Must keep the pallet storage and containment areas cleaned and organized.
  • Must keep all plastic bailed and stacked.
  • Receive all sales wines and put in proper area as directed by receiving department.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager. 
Requirements
  • 2-4 years using a forklift, preferably in a Winery or wine warehouse setting. 
  • Able to work any shift and weekends as needed to ensure all production needs are met.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, at times frequently.
  • Able to communicate clearly
  • Writes clearly and informatively, edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively, and able to interpret written information.
  • Contributes to building a positive team spirit.
